i have a story (complaint)

Alright I've been wanting a new radio ever since my dad gave me my car because the radio tht came with the car only does radio so finally my parents told me I can get a new radio for my birthday I was so excited, well it didnt work out the way i wanted it to...

~~Day One~~
My Birthday

I woke up and was so excited to get my new stereo for my car. Me and my dad left for the new Martinsburg best buy at noon so we can get it installed tht same day. When we got there I already knew which stereo I wanted all we needed was someone to get it for us so we waited and waited for someone to come finally someone asks us for help only to be pawned off onto someone else so we had to wait for him to come help us. Eventually someone came to help us and this guy mustve been the stupidest person ever, so we told him wht stereo i wanted, he looked for but culdnt find it so i had to pick another one out so he gets it out and we told him we wanted it to be installed today he said ok let me check on the car stereo installators so he calls them and noone answered so he goes back there and comes back and told us tht they're off today....so they're off on a wednesday..tht makes sense (not rly so the guy tells us to come back tmw to get it installed. Okay so we get the stereo and go home.

~~Day Two~~
The Next Day

Alright the guys there yesterday told me to come at around noon so I leave around 11:30 bacause it was one of those rly rainy days. I get to the mburg best buy grab my radio and my reciept walk in there tell the guy im getting this radio installed today he tells me the car stereo installators are off AGAIN....he told me they're weight training thts why the're off....rriiigghhtt, well tht was the last time i went there so i had to leave pissed off...

~~Day Three~~
The Next Day

Well I decided to call the mburg best buy and see if they will install my stereo well whn i called the only person who wuld help me is this chick i guess she was customer service and she told me there is only one person there and hes rly busy today..okay so i left my name and number and tht was it..so i called the hagerstown best buy and was actually able to talk to one of the car stereo installers and i asked him if he wuld install it and he said yeah come in at 2, sweet finally i can get this stereo installed so i was about to leave and the hagerstown best buy calls me and told me they dont have the parts to install it (the fit kit so it can fit in my car, antenna adaper so i use my radio, or wire harness so i can hear it and gives it power) so im a little ticked but he told me to go to this car audio store in hagerstown for the parts, okay so once again i leave hoping to get my stereo installed. I get to this car audio store i ask for the parts he looks them up, and tells me hes sold out......OMG WHY..so i call the hagerstown best buy and told hes sold out and they tell me to buy them online and to call them back whn i get them. I get home look up the parts find them and get my dad to order them, and this is a friday and they dont ship anythin on the weekends so i knew i had to wait till next week to get the parts....so another day, and more wasted gas

~~Day Four~~
THREE Days Later

UPS comes by with my parts, I call the hagerstown best buy back tell them I got my parts can you install my stereo today yeah come by at 3, so i get up there at three and had to wait almost an hour for them to even start on my car so whn they finally do start they open my radio only to be missing a harness tht was supposed be in the box...wow rly so thank god i took the recipt for my stereo with me or i wuldnt be able to get the harness and thank god they had it. An hour later i got my stereo in my car and it works and sounds beautufully and finally im happy, so i want something done about all this because i dont think it takes a week to get a stereo in my car.

I’m sorry to hear about the tough time you had trying to get your new radio installed.  It really shouldn’t be this difficult and I know I would be just as frustrated if this were to happen to me.  I do want to thank you for sharing this as it will allow me to make sure the local stores are aware of experience.  Hopefully we can improve by hearing this feedback.
