Hi, I bought a portable air conditioner on 07/08/09 and returned it to the store on 07/31/09 and bought another one on the same day. Because the value of the AC is more than $250 so they said I'll receive a mail check for the refund within 14 days. However, so far, 19 days have passed by, I still didn't get my refund check. How long should I wait for that check? If there is anything wrong with the mail process, what can I do? I have both the original and return receipt.

If your budget is anything like mine being with your money for more than 19 days would be extremely difficult. Unfortunately it can take up to 10-14 business days for a customer to receive their check refund from a cash, check, or debit purchase that was returned. If you processed the return on 7/31/2009 that timeframe should now be past
