I have a 58" plasma TV scheduled for basic delivery. In the 'Help' section of the Best Buy web site, it says that "If your delivery includes a television, we will also: Position the TV on an existing stand". But then it also says, " Delivery of a television does not include: "Assembly of tabletop stands (included with most LCD and plasma TVs). The assembly will be scheduled for a day after the delivery date."
Is that really true? The delivery men will not assemble the stand that is included in the box with the TV? If it is not assembled, there is no way the TV can be put on my existing stand. It also can not be turned on to see if its working OK while the delivery men are here.
How does this work?
Thank you!

If I am not mistaken, the verbiage is meaning that they won't be setting up furniture stands. The actual base of the television would be attached. I hope this helps!

That is correct. The warehouse team will place the base stand on the TV that comes with it and they will set that onto an EXISTING TV stand. If you purchased a new TV stand and need it assembled, you would have to purchase the Furniture Assembly from the Geek Squad.
