Just purchased a Cdn$260 Fujifilm Finepix Z33WP 30 days ago and now its dead after using it only a few times.
Now I have to do my own shipping/insurance/packaging and RMA process. One would think that with the volume of business that Best Buy and Futureshop do, they would not pass such hassles to their customers to save a few bucks.
A very displease customer.

30 days puts you just at the edge of Best Buy's return period (or is BB's period 15 days? I can't remember).
Once the return period is up, unless you bought a service plan it's out of BB's hands and in the manufacturer's.

Return period for cameras is 14 days.

We should be able to send this unit to the service center for repair. I would also check with local management and see if there is anything they can do for you.

Hey rfiset -
Allan, one of our Community Connectors, should be reaching out to you shortly. Thank you for your patience!

Hi rfiset,
I would be upset myself with the prospect of paying for shipping of the camera back to the manufacturer to have it repairs done that are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty only 30 days after purchasing the camera.
From reading your other post about the same issue it looks like you purchased the camera from a Best Buy® Canada store in Rosemere, Quebec in Canada. Unfortunately this forum is for support of customer’s in the U.S. only, and as Nokia stated in your other thread you would need to call 1-866-BestBuy to get support for a purchase made in a Best Buy® Canada store.
I really do wish I could try and resolve your issue for you, but no one here on this forum has the ability to address an issue with a Best Buy® Canada purchase. I truly wish you the best of luck!
Thanks for posting,
