Buyer Beware! Best Buy just pulled a bait and switch. This morning on Best Buy's website there was a laptop bundle advertised at $279. I checked the availability of my local store and it was available. When I got to the store, the clerk told me the bundle was available and she would get it from stock. She then came back with the manager. The manager told me that he wasn't selling this bundle till Black Friday... and the price would be $369!
So basically, he told me to come back in 3 days and pay over $100 more for the same system. I tried to explain to him that I realized the system is being sold for $369 on Black Friday, but it was advertised today for $279. I even offered to show him on the website. He didn't care.
I called customer service after leaving the store empty handed. Customer service called the manager. They then proceded to tell me that the decision had been made not to sell this laptop till Friday. There was no explanation given from either person as to why I couldn't purchase this when it was in stock that day.... as well as why I had to wait 3 days to purchase it for much more than the advertised price.
