Hi - I'm researching refrigerators and am looking for a bottom freezer apartment-size affordable energy star model that is very quiet... Would prefer stainless steel or black... Any recommendations?  Hoping to take advantage of the upcoming rebate program too...

That's not a bad Fridge but it's not bottom mount. 30" wide is going to narrow it down quite a bit.  I would probably look at either the LG or the GE for a good low cost one.  You could choose something like the GE GBSC0HCXWW or the Maytag MBF1958WEWor even the LG LFC20760SW of you want french door bottom mount.
