      <description>&lt;p&gt;I purchased a 46in hdtv bluray combo and chose in store pickup.  I received email that my order was ready to be picked up.  I arranged to have someone help me as my car was to small and when I arrived went to in store pick up counter who told me they would bring the order up.  After 20 minutes and no items I asked what was the problem and they said they couldn' t find my tv and were going to look again.  I ended up waiting a hour and finally they say no tv.  I asked if they could ship it to me from another store and they said sure for $70.00.  I purchased from BB even though I hear bad stories.  Never again.  Fool me once shame on you:  Fool me twice, shame on me.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>Purchased Best Buy 5 year warranty, and for what?</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;I've had headaches with Verizon and Altell customer service but I never expected Best Buy to let me down.  My LG WM2016 Front load washing machine decided to keep filling and spill about 15 to 20 gallons of water all over my floors.  I immediately called best buy after using the shop vac to suck up the water before it ruined the carpet and soaked into the floor boards and drywall.  The first tech from the GeekSquad (GS) told me that they would call me back in fours hours because they had another department that had to research who could repair my washer.  They never called.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;  I called the second time that day and they told me that someone would be out on Saturday and they gave me the number to the repair center.  I called the repair center and they don't even work on Saturdays.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;  The third call they said that another service center would be out on Saturday and I couldn't even contact that repair service and they are unlisted in the phone book.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;  The fourth call was that someone would be out on Monday or if I wanted to I could pay for someone to come and fix it and I would get reimbursed, only if they were and authorized LG repair service. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; The fifth and final call was to corporate in which the wonderful lady was patient with me and did everything she could to help but the earliest available date is Tuesday.  There is no guarantee that they can even fix it next week without having to order parts and Thanksgiving is coming. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; My wife is at the Laundromat spending $3 a load to wash and dry our entire family's (2 daughters and a son) laundry for the past week.  I can deal with combat and the care of 63 Marines under my command.  I can't accept the fact that I paid for a warranty that does me absolutely no good when I need it the most.  My family is most important to me and to have their quality of life affected because I purchased a warranty that gives false security is really a professional let down from Best Buy.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>Late Credit Keeper Payment on my Best Buy account</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Hello, I am currently new to these boards and I was just wondering if anybody could help me with this problem I may be having. You see, last spring I applied for a Best Buy card and purchased a laptop with it. A few weeks later I had to call customer service and activate the card and I did so, however, one of the representatives also put me on a creditkeeper account. She told me the service would be 10 dollars a month along with the payments on the laptop and that it should all be paid off within six months. So I did what they said and paid for my laptop within six months. My last bill for the laptop came in October and I paid it off and I thought everything was all said and done. Now I am currently in the process of wanting to purchase an HDTV with my best buy card seeing as I did a good job in keeping up with payments for the laptop and did everything they instructed me to do.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Well a few weeks after I paid off my laptop I received another bill from best Buy and I thought to myself &amp;quot;Why am I receiving another bill?&amp;quot; I already paid everything off and as it turns out, that even though I paid the laptop off, Credit Keeper would still be charging me 10 dollars a month even though I wasn't using the card anymore at the time. So I called up Best Buy Customer service, and they connected me to Credit Keeper and Credit Kepper was trying to talk me into all these deals they had and that their service was well. However, as much as they wanted me to do business with them, I can't be paying 10 dollars a month for a card that I was no longer using at the moment. So I told them to please cancel the creditkeeper account and so they did and refunded back the 10 dollars I supposedly owed and I thought everything was all said and done.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Two weeks after receiving the bill and after canceling the credit keeper service, I decided to once again use my best buy card to go and purchase the HDTV I wanted. But unfortunately, I lost the card somewhere in my house so I called up Best Buy Customer Service so they could send me a new card which they are, but then this came...I apparently still owed 10 dollars on my bill and I asked them why and they told me it was for Credit Keeper. I told the representative that I canceled the Credit Keeper account and that they would refund those 10 dollars back. She told me the account was still active and that I should call Credit Keeper about it. So after two weeks of receiving that bill and the due date of that bill passing yesterday and being told I did not have to pay it, I have to end up calling them back asking why Best Buy still has the account active and credit keeper tells me that the account has indeed been shut down but since they billed me before shutting down the account I still have to pay. I told credit keeper that last time I called, they said they would refund that back and I would not have to pay and apparently this representative did not know anything about that.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So now I'm stuck with a late bill of 10 dollars that was due yesterday all because of this misunderstanding with credit keeper and I can't pay online due to me not having a bank check(only have a debit card) and the mail doesn't start again until Monday. So can anybody please help me with this? Will a late payment of 10 dollars to credit keeper do anything bad to my credit? If they had told me sooner that I still had to pay the bill I would have paid like always, I have never missed a payment in my life. But since they did not tell me, I'm stuck here with a late payment. I really don't want anything bad on my credit score all because of 10 dollars. So can anybody help? and am I still able to purchase the TV on the card even though I owe money? Reply back please. Thank You&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>Please help with Panasonic 50" Plasma &amp; PSP</title>

      <description>Hello everyone, first post here! I purchased a Panasonic 50&amp;quot; Plasma from Best Buy (love Best Buy, get all my stuff there!) on 6/16/08 and also purchased the 4 year PSP to go with it. Well, recently the speakers seem to not like certain sounds. We could be watching tv, dvd or dvr'd stuff and certain tones cause the tv to vibrate/buzz quite loudly. So this past Tuesday I called 888-Best-Buy and had someone tell me that a local shop could send someone out on Saturday (today). Great! That's quick service I thought. So the guy came today and, to my surprise, the tv actually made the buzzing noise for him. So he says to me &amp;quot;OK, we need to take the tv to our shop so we can take it apart and determine whether or not it's fixable&amp;quot;. So apparently, much to my chagrin, I'm going to have to be without a tv until &amp;quot;middle of next week&amp;quot;. So I tried calling the 888-Best-Buy # again to find out if I really had to go without a tv for all that time. They weren't picking up after I spoke with the initial person who transfers your call to the right area, and the guy had to get going. So we are setting up another appt for next week. Here's where my question lies. The Best Buy rep whom I purchased the tv from told me that if anything ever goes wrong with your tv, they will provide in-home service so I will never have to be without a tv. So yes, they did come to my house, but now they want to take my tv for at least 5 days. Shouldn't I get some sort of loaner or replacement? SHOULD I GET A LOANER OR REPLACEMENT TV IN THIS SCENARIO? OR DO I HAVE TO GO WITHOUT A TV UNTIL &amp;quot;middle of next week&amp;quot;? I've already read plenty of horror stories online about people's fix taking WAY longer than they were told, and I don't want to be without a tv that I purchased a &amp;quot;performance service plan&amp;quot; on.       <description>&lt;p&gt;So I really do have to ask what is the point of the reward zone coupons?  Everytime I go to use them I get back the computer is not taking them, so they must mot be valid!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have been going back and forth on a Sony Reader or a Kindle..  Finally was slightly leaning towards the Sony, and look I get my Reward Zone coupon's in the mail..  Bonus!  NOT!  I go to pick it up and nothing, they won't accept it...  I ask where does it say it is NOT valid on the Sony Reader, they say they can't see that it isn't, but it also doesn't fall into one of the category's on the front... I'm like I need a computer to use it, so it really is an accessory to my computer..       <description>Last year I purchased an Apple 15'' Macbook Pro two weeks before the newest one came out with a performance plan with accidental damage. A month ago the computer was having some problems so I figured I would just have it looked at. I was never thinking that the computer would be replaced and I was in love with my computer. It took about 6 weeks for the computer to be tested and they finally came back and said that it is &amp;quot;too expensive to fix&amp;quot; so they said they will send me another computer. When I went to pick up the computer they gave me a 13'' Macbook Pro. When I asked them why the computer is the smaller one the manager quoted &amp;quot;computers change rapidly and we only match PERFORMANCE and SCREEN SIZE is NOT PERFORMANCE&amp;quot;. I was a bit upset by this so I called around to other Best Buys in my area (Bellevue WA) including the Bellevue store. When I questioned the Geek Squad about this they all said that if the computer is in stock they match it up the best they can. Then I asked will they replace the computer with one with a smaller screen...they all said NO! I understand that computer technology changes but that computer was $1900(15'') and the one that they replaced it with is $1499(13'')...that hardly looks the &amp;quot;same&amp;quot;!!! The computer was purchased just for surfing the internet so the bigger screen is what i should have since that is what i originally purchased. Bellevue, WA Best Buy has consistantly given me problems and I continue to still be a customer...WHY!!! Thanks ~Michael</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;hello..recently at BEST BUY i bought a samsung messenger I for metro PCS in mid august of 2009 with the best insurance policy possible.. meaning if something happens to the phone (cracked screen,water damage,etc..) they will automatically replace it with no problem..well recently my phone has been having problems ,for example, turning on and off automatically, flickering of the messages, getting frozen, and alot more..its pretty bad..but i paid the phone with cash and now i cant find the receipt. how is it possible to look up the insurance i bought online and the receipt. if someone can please answer as soon as possible ill really appreciate it. thank you :] samsung&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;I have to say, I was a LONG standing support of circit city, and moved to bestbuy after they closed, and up to this point... never really had a problem, esp after i did most of my major eeletronic buys from you, simply due to the great support/good return policy...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I decide to go to Bestbuy to obtain God of war collection, since you had a GREAT deal on it, and was quite excited to get that and preorder the next game. upon getting to the counter, i got carded... though im never thrilled by it, they have to do their job and i accept that, i offer to give him my ID so he can fill out the preorder information without an issue, because does anyone like speak spelling things for people to spell... so he says no, and so i go down the list at just about every field he required me to spell the thing at hand.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Having reached city, Livonia which was on the lower left of the street corner (the bestbuy is near a + and the right is 1 town, the top left is another town, and the lower left is another town) he kept trying to spell it and did a rather poor job, considering how common it must have been being near a college and all... so i help him out and tell him how it was spelt, he then inquires &amp;quot;are you giving me attitude?!&amp;quot;, to which i said &amp;quot;well frankly yes, I offered my ID to make this easier on both of us, and now theres several people waiting in line that could have been helped sooner because of this...&amp;quot; (there was around 5 or so in line, and only 2 people checking out) after my comment, he turned off the register and walked off and decided to help the next person in line.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So i waited around 10 or so mins for the other guy to finish with the woman, and expected him to check me out and that was it, since its not really a big deal if someone wants to be a little less than helpful. the other guy checking out refused to sell to me, and took the next guy in line, having my service denied i went to talk to a manager and get this all sorted out. Upon explaining it to him, he kinda just shruged and said nearly sarcastically &amp;quot;ill talk to him later...&amp;quot; (though i never explained or said who it was)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;due to this rather poor treatment, im not really sure if ill shop at bestbuy again, but i thought i would post this since i felt quite bothered by this level of service in a nearly dead store =\...&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>Handicap Access</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Recently my teenage daughter suffered an injury that has confined her to a wheel chair.  Until this I was completely unaware of what disabled people face on a daily basis.  Last night we went to our local Best Buy store.  They have many displays out, I assume due to Christmas shopping.  There were several large items in the middle of the aisles.  They also have rolling display shelves located directly in the middle of major pathways.  It was very difficult to maneuver the major aisles, and some were impossible.  Luckily, my daughter's injury isn't permanent so her wheel chair is relatively small.  If someone in a more substantial chair or an electric wheel chair wanted to shop or browse it would be near impossible.  When I brought this to the attention to a manager he said sorry, and offered to go get any item I may need.  Everyone likes to be independent, especially those who are involuntarily dependent on others.  People confined to wheel chairs want to browse all the aisles of all stores exactly the same as people who do not require assistance.  Best Buy left me with a very damaged view of their handicap policy. &lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>My saga begins this morning - I attempt to buy a new fridge and two iTouchs via the web. Oops, sorry even though your fridge is in stock, no delivery available... hmmm... I empty the cart and try again... nope... okay so I call Best Buy. A woman named Davincia takes all my information in a 30+ minute call... oops she can't figure out what the problem is... she puts me on hold and comes back and says she can't find her manager, she will call me back within 30 minutes, they will find a way to deliver it to me. Ok, great. I wait, and I wait... and I w a i t... no callback. So, I call again. New guy says, there is no info on this order... hmmm... so we start over, why won't you take my $2000? He says he can't see what the problem is because he can't see where the fridge is available (and I keep thinking, I called customer service, right?? Shouldn't they be able to see WHERE stock is located? Wouldn't that be um, easy to access given that I can look MYSELF online???). So he tells me he can call the store but it might take a long time or they might not answer... ok call. I wait, and wait... he comes back, the store didn't answer. So now what? I am 3 hours into this and still Best Buy will NOT TAKE MY MONEY! This is by far the worst buying experience I've ever had. Who can I write?</description>
